The straw is super light, called Toquilla, and is the same straw used in the handcrafting of the finest Panama hats.
 
The women weaving these disks live in the mountains of Montecristi, Ecuador. The delicate embellishment wire wrapping beading work has been made by me, Allie, in my CA studio, using gold-filled high-quality findings and real Swarovski crystals in contrasting colors
 
This piece is OOAK because I have handmade only one in this color, and it is part of my new OOAK collection for Valentine's Queen of Hearts 
Please note that the different coloration of the pink quartz Hearts is not a defective issue but the natural unique characteristic of the natural real stones.
