The straw is super light is called toquilla and is the same straw using in the handcrafting of the finest Panama hats. The women weaving this disks live in the mountains of Montecristi, Ecuador

The embellishment have been made by me , Allie Thornton, in my CA studio, using fabric roses to comopliment the straw roses.
