Powerful jewelry empowering women. These statement earrings in toquilla straw are  bold and at the same light weight jewelry.

The straw is super light is called toquilla and is the same straw using in the hand crafting of the finest Panama hats. The women weaving this disks live in the mountains of Montecristi, Ecuador

The delicate embellishment work have been made by me Allie Thornton, in my CA studio, using gold filled high quality findings,   gold filled beads 14k and gold crystals. Resembles a floral or a garden in big wicker red circle straw, perfect for San Valentine's or Holidays.
 
The pearls and beads not glued with a gun, contrary are individually woven using alambrado or wire wrapping techniques . Each pair of earrings takes me at least a couple of hours to make,
 
The posts are also gold filled 14k.
