This necklace was inspired by my cruise to Alaska and after watching Mama Bear teaching her cub to fish in the ocean from my balcony and after visiting The  Bear Fortress in Juno. Where orphan bears have a safe heaven.
I am an animal lover , so I was also  disappointed to see how dead stuffed bears are sold in boutiques as decor and to witness  in Ketchikan bears claws mounted in gold and sold as luxury items to the visitors.
I told myself I should create a necklace shaped like bear claws to demonstrate there is  no need to hunt these precious animals when there is a vegan and cruelty-free  option made of tagua nuts from Ecuador forest.
The bear claw is 100% tagua nuts handcarved. Adaptable length. Onyx lustrous black,  super luxurious tribal necklace by Allie.
